Getting anyone to think about a pension is challenging. Engaging people in their 20s with a company pension scheme is a colossal job. When Scottish Widows asked us to think about the task, digital marketing was a key part of our strategy. In a short film, broadcast on employer intranets, we took a look at life in our imaginary ‘Wheezing Meadows Retirement Home’, where oldies are still skydiving and exploring the world, thanks to pensions. To help young employees see a path to such happy endings we also created an informative animation full of ‘I didn’t know that’ facts and figures.
