Account Manager

Do you want to get your teeth stuck into big and bold projects with global brands? Fancy working with some of Scotland’s sharpest (and soundest) people in the industry?

We’re looking for an Account Manager to be the bridge between our clients and us. You’ll be fluent in keeping clients happy and go that little bit further to solve tough asks and client curveballs.

In return, we will offer a nurturing work environment, that encourages you to thrive – with lots of opportunity for training, development and progression.

We’re a fast-paced agency with tight turnarounds, so you’ll be up our street if you’re go-getting, reliable and an on-the-hoof thinker. That said, our ‘office’ (currently virtual) is relaxed, supportive and full of welcoming faces.

With lots of projects on the go at once, you’ll also need to be bright and an always-on-top-of-things type. You’ll be responsible for making sure projects are on brand and on time, so an eye for detail and design is a must-have.

Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • ensuring the smooth running of your client accounts
  • organising client briefings and presentations
  • working with our award-winning creative team to produce brilliant, effective work
  • working with internal teams and external suppliers
  • financial management – estimating, quoting, and invoicing
  • time management – creation of timing plans to meet client deadlines
  • documenting project progress – status reports, contact reports etc.

This is a role for those who like the agency buzz. You will be a natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail, bringing bucketloads of enthusiasm and initiative – plus a sharp commercial focus.

Salary is negotiable, dependent on experience.

Your package will include:

  • competitive salary
  • comprehensive flexible working policy
  • pension
  • group Life Cover
  • generous holiday allowance
  • IPA CPD training
  • opportunities for career progression within Union Group.

To apply, please send your CV and a covering statement on “what makes a great account manager?” (250 words max) to with ‘Account Manager’ in the subject line.
