Challenge
Despite the Foundation’s success in supporting charities across Scotland, they found that using traditional channels to publicise funding programmes was becoming less successful. Facebook and Twitter were now crucial for sharing news about their latest grant programmes and deadlines to Scotland’s third sector. But being a small team, with a small budget meant they needed expert guidance on how to create social media campaigns that delivered impact. This would not only showcase their invaluable work, but raise their profile, meaning even more charities would be able to benefit.
Solution
The most effective solution for our client was to arm them with the expertise and tools needed to run impactful campaigns themselves. We developed a hard-working social media strategy and strategic framework to help boost awareness of the Foundation’s work. And we supplied a creative suite of templates with a consistent tone of voice and look and feel, which they could run self-sufficiently to continue spreading the word far and wide.
“ A huge thanks for all your work on our new social media strategy. We recently used some of the templates and the posts look amazing and transform our Twitter and Facebook accounts to a whole new level! ”

Result
Results for the initial campaign showed the Foundation received three times the usual number of grant applications, which is down in no small part to their social media activity.
